There is a lot to see and do close to the Vivint Smart Home Arena. The Gateway and City Creek shopping centers are within walking distance if you want to shop. There are also numerous places to eat surrounding the Vivint Smart Home Arena; the Food Court at the Gateway, the Food Court at City Creek, The Lion House Pantry, Iggy’s Sports Grill, Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, Macaroni Grill, and Olive Garden. Temple Square is also quite the attraction that garners world acclaim. The Famers Market on Saturday mornings should definitely be on the list to check out. There is a great museum on the campus of the University of Utah that is a MUST see.

Downtown Salt Lake has the Mormon temple which has a visitors center and beautiful grounds. If you go during the winter holidays there are also lights everywhere. The beautiful Wasatch mountains are also there and pretty easy to access. Jordan Commons has a lot of shopping and restaurants and then there is the University of Utah and BYU schools to look at.
