San Francisco has its Chinatown and Japantown, but Santa Clara has Koreatown. This stretch of El Camino Real near Lawrence Expressway is home to lots of Korean restaurants that win raves for their bulgogi, bibimbap, seafood pancakes — and their KFC, as in Korean-style fried chicken. The legs and wings are double-fried to create a super-crackly crust. Some of the chicken shops and full-menu eateries — including 99 Chicken, Gooyi Gooyi and Jang Mo Jip — are open until midnight or 2 a.m. Plenty of nice drink options as well to wash all this down with.
