Michael Mina is hosting an all-inclusive, high-end tailgate party at his restaurant, Bourbon Steak & Pub, in the stadium on game days, including custom menus depending on the 49ers’ opponent. For example, against the Houston Texans, Mina plans to whip up a fire-roasted saddle of beef, porchetta sandwiches, and creamy mac and cheese with braised collard greens. There are spots for 500 fans at the members-only tailgate party, which costs $5,000 a season, though the regular restaurant is open year-round to the public.

The 20,000-square-foot center inside the stadium will feature interactive exhibits where fans can mimic players’ movements, a theater featuring a giant Sony super high-definition screen, and a thorough team history dating back to 1946. The hall of fame exhibit includes life-sized statues of all 26 Niners hall of famers, and another area includes a recreation of coach Bill Walsh’s Redwood City office.
