There aren’t too many pubs around for away fans, but a little searching will find you a few. The Nottingham Rowing Club is one, just by the river Trent: £1 to get in, but friendly and sociable atmosphere inside. Stratford Haven is another, not far from the ground, that lets home and away fans mingle in comfort.
If you’re a Forest fan that’s travelled in from elsewhere, virtually every pub near the stadium is yours to enter – enjoy yourself!

There are a lot of places to choose from for drinks before the game – although there aren’t many designated ‘away’ fan pubs – most places will let you in, though you may have a bit of a problem with the bouncers if you are in away colors.
The Lace Market area of Nottingham is great for stunning pubs and bars – though they do come with a bit of a price tag. City Ground is actually nearer the suburb of West Bridgford – so take a walk down their famous ‘Avenue’ and choose one of the many bars.
If you’re a forest fan – then definitely head to the ‘Riverbank’ and ‘The Southbank Bar’ – both stone’s throws from the stadium – you may be asked for a match ticket for entry.
